While most trip expenses are covered in the cost, there are a few exceptions. Here’s a breakdown of extra costs you can anticipate: flights, personal travel expenses, shopping, tips, some meals, and optional bonus activities. These ensure flexibility so you can customize your experience to suit your preferences.
Flights + Travel Costs
Flights to and from Tokyo, as well as any personal travel costs, are not included in the trip price. We provide a downloadable guide to help with your flight search, and are available for assistance via email, to help you find the best options. however, airfare and related expenses are yours to arrange and cover.
Some Meals
While daily breakfast and select meals—such as those prepared during the cooking class and food tour—are included, other meals are not. Tokyo’s vibrant culinary scene offers endless opportunities to explore and savor local flavors, from street food to fine dining, which we’ll enjoy together. During these group meals, each guest will be responsible for paying for their meal individually.
Shopping + Tips
Thrifting in Tokyo is an adventure in itself, offering unique finds and vintage treasures. Your shopping costs and any tips for services during the trip are yours to cover, so you can tailor your experience to your preferences and style.
Free Day + Bonus Activities

Amirah truly treats you like a bestie and she provides only the best for her besties! The accommodations and meals were top tier ( I didn’t want to leave my room at the beautiful villa). Amirah goes out of her way to make the experience one of a lifetime. Her attention to detail is impeccable. For example, I briefly mentioned I wanted an açaí bowl and I forgot about it. However, on our last day together Amirah planned our day in way that ensured I got to experience a Balinese açaí bowl. The entire experience is full of small thoughtful moments that make you feel seen and appreciated. Anything you want to do, see, or eat; Amirah will make it happen!
